Organized on the occasion of the Museum’s 50th anniversary, a milestone traditionally associated with this metal, Gold: Enduring Power, Sacred Craft invites fresh inquiry into the nature of gold as an artistic medium. Assistant Curator Lakshika Senarath Gamage and Associate Curator Maggie Bell will explore the exhibition in depth, providing broader understanding of the significance of gold in global spiritual, cultural and artistic practices.

Additional curator-led tours will be offered in January and February.

This in-person tour is limited to Museum members. Registration is required.
Members plus one guest may register for one tour only (total 2 people).
