Van Gogh’s Bedrooms, a riveting publication produced in conjunction with the Art Institute of Chicago’s recent exhibition of the same name, delves into the artist’s three paintings of his bedroom in Arles, France, created between 1888 and 1889. This sumptuous publication reproduces more than 50 related paintings, drawings and letters by the artist, shedding light on his relationships, thoughts and creative process.
