“Little Dancer Aged Fourteen” Paper Cast Sculpture
Paper artist Ellen Cline has created an elegant adaptation of Edgar Degas’ sculpture “Little Dancer Aged Fourteen”. Though consistent, each paper sculpture is a unique hand-made casting that features minor variations in highlight coloring and detail. A fabric ribbon is tied at the back of the head on the paper cast of the “Little Dancer,” similar to Degas’ sculpture on view at the Norton Simon Museum.
