Daybook: The Journey of an Artist
American artist Anne Truitt (1928-2004) was associated with the Minimalist and Color Field movements. A retrospective of Ms. Truitt’s sculpture and drawings at the Whitney Museum in 1973 led her to a period of introspection that was recorded in a diary that the artist kept over a seven-year period. “Daybook” is a moving and eloquent reflection on art, life and the creative process.
