Anna Atkins Sunprint Boxed Notecard Set
Cyanotype, invented in 1842, was one of the first photographic processes. Anna Atkins, one of sthe first female photographers, used the cyanotype process to document her exploration of the natural world. She included her photographs in her 1843 publication, Photographs of British Algae: Cyanotype Impressions (the first book illustrated with photographic images). A collection of these elegant natural forms are beautifully reproduced in a boxed note card set featuring 12 different images.
