Between the 9th and 13th centuries, the Chola dynasty was the dominant culture in southern India. Chola bronzes are widely considered to be among the finest examples of Indian sculptural art. This handsome publication accompanied an exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts, London in 2006/2007.
