A Focus on the Figure
Artist Michael Horowitz focuses on how to draw the figure in a series of Friday night classes. Using the Museum’s collections as inspiration, participants explore the figure through gesture, basic construction, basic anatomy and self-expression by using a variety of styles to draw a live, clothed, figure model.

Parisian Nights with Toulouse-Lautrec

Using a more graphic approach to the figure, as seen in works by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, participants capture the essence of 19th-century Paris by sketching a model in period costume.

All levels of experience are welcome. Each class is $20 ($16 for members), and space is limited to 18 participants. All materials and admission to the galleries on the day of class are included. Please register below.
